Spring Break

We went to Florida last weekend and went from this:

To this:

And now, we are back to this (yep, snow day #645 of the year and on St. Patty's Day):

While in Florida, we also went to two Nats Spring Training games, Spanky played golf three times and we saw extended family (below is the youngest generation on my Mom's side of the family):

Caroline with her cousin, Callie, who is about four months older than her (they got along pretty well until they both wanted to play with the same toy):

Spring Training

It was Spring Training for both us and the Washington Nationals!  We had a great time with beautiful weather while my visiting extended family and watching the Nationals Spring Training in mid-March.  Caroline turned 13 months while we were on the trip.  She was also working on two new teeth - molars - and her walking skills.

Enjoying the Park by Great-Grandma's House:

Trip to the Brevard Zoo with all the Family (5 kids and 7 adults in total, but we weren't successful in a group shot):

Hanging out with the cousins:

Cheering on the Nationals - too bad that they lost the game:

Beach Bum

Caroline lasted about an hour at the beach - absolutely did not like the water, but enjoyed a nice snooze on the sand:

Uncle Greg Gets Married!!

My uncle Greg had been dating Cheri for at least 15 years so this wedding was a huge event for and we so happy that it finally happened!! Here's some pictures from the big event in Melbourne in November 2008. It was so wonderful to witness the wedding and visit with family - we are so happy for Greg and Cheri!

We never thought that we'd see a ring on this finger:

All the cousins (minus Casey and Emily who are in Madagascar in the Peace Corps) at the kids table:

There was a contest with another table to see who could stack the wine glasses the highest (don't worry they were plastic) and I'm happy to say that I won - I got some mean glass-stacking skills:
