One Month

I'm posting a bit late, but the pictures were taken on March 16th. Here's the stats from her one month doctor's appointment (technically was 5 weeks at the appointment):

Weight: 8 lbs 10 oz (25 - 50 percentile)
Height: 21 3/4 in (50 - 75 percentile)

They also took her head circumference, which I don't remember, but it was only the 25 - 50 percentile so it doesn't look like she got her head size from her Daddy (thank goodness).  Her birth weight was 6 lbs, 14 oz and height was 20 in. At her two week appointment (12 days), she weighed 7 lbs, 7 oz so she's growing right on schedule. She's definitely a good (and frequent) eater ;).

Look Alike?

Tried to replicate the picture of me at 3 weeks to see any similarities - was able to use the same yellow blanket, but couldn't replicate that cool 70's couch:

First Trip to Trusty's

Spanky's birthday present was to have Caroline go to Trusty's for brunch. She seemed to enjoy it - slept the whole time. Several friends joined us for the occasion and at one point, there were three children under the age of one at the bar. I am sure that it won't be her last trip to Trusty's ;)

Nana and Granddad's Visit

My parents meet Caroline about a week after she arrived and stayed for a week. It was wonderful to have them in town and to have the extra help. We miss them!

She's Here!!

One week late and after 25 hours of labor, Caroline Marie Means finally arrived at 1:59 am on February 16, 2012 weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and measuring 20 in. Here are a few pictures from the hospital. We're settling in at home and just trying to get as much sleep as we can...luckily, she's been a pretty easy-going baby so far...hope it continues (again, apologies for the sideways and upside down pictures - not able to figure it out and prioritizing sleep right now ;)).
